What macOS version is required?

Spectra Studio requires macOS 14.6 or later.

How do I report a bug?

Email support@hyperlitemedia.com with a description of what happened, your macOS version, and any reproduction steps. If the bug is visual, a screenshot or screen recording dramatically speeds up diagnosis.

My project file won’t reopen — what happened?

Spectra Studio uses macOS security-scoped bookmarks to remember where your media files live. If you’ve moved or renamed source clips since saving the project, the app will warn you about clips it couldn’t find. Re-importing them through the media pool restores the link. To prevent this in future, keep source media in a stable folder before saving.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple, not directly by us. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com — just sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase, find Spectra Studio, and follow the prompts. Apple reviews each request individually, and refund eligibility depends on Apple’s current policy and the time since purchase.
